It is a collaborative platform where Moroccans living in Japan and Japanese people come together to learn, create and share Moroccan culture through music, dance and human connection.

We believe that genuine cultural exchange begins not on the stage, but through friendships, collaboration and mutual respect.

Our mission is to create opportunities where Moroccan traditions can be experienced, appreciated and passed on to future generations in Japan.

Chaabi Tokyo

What is Chaabi?

Chaabi is the music of celebration in Morocco.

It brings people together at weddings, festivals, family gatherings and joyful moments.

More than a musical genre, Chaabi is a shared cultural experience where music, dance and community become one.

Our Vision

To create Japan’s first authentic Chaabi community, growing together with Moroccans living in Japan.

Not to imitate.

Not to replace.

But to celebrate Moroccan culture together—with authenticity, respect and joy.
